About Andre
Andre has spent 16 years in mortgage lending, the last nine of them on the wholesale side, and has closed more than 1,400 loans across four states. The through-line in that work is borrowers who do not fit a template: a contractor with two years of 1099 income, a nurse relocating mid-contract, a couple buying their first house on one income while the other finishes school.
Before moving into lending, Andre spent six years underwriting for a regional bank. That background is the reason a Northgate pre-approval holds up: the file gets read the way an underwriter will read it before it ever leaves the branch, so surprises surface in week one instead of three days before closing.
Andre chairs the branch's first-time buyer workshop series and sits on the board of a local housing nonprofit. Outside the office, most weekends involve a barbecue smoker and a losing argument about brisket technique.
